It would bring much joy if soundboards were enabled for the stream-your-game Discord channels, and there was a complimentary set of Arkheron themes sounds available on the official Discord server for usage with the previously mentioned soundboards.

Hi hi! We can add the setting no problem - no idea how to add a soundboard though. If we enable it can people bring their own? If they do, can they use them to be a menace?
I think only an admin can add custom sounds to the soundboards in Discord, so these would need to be requests+submitted somewhere if they are community generated (forums?).
I was thinking some of the in-game voicelines or common sounds would be fun, if there was to be a custom-soundboard. If players can add their own sounds, for sure there could be… unwanted friction.
Forgive me for being new about it but how do people use soundboards on Discord? I’m down to look into it.
In the streaming channels of any discord, when someone is streaming, there’s usually a soundboard button. People watching a stream can click sounds on the soundboard, which usually have some emoji associated with them, and it will play a sound during the steam. These can be sounds like clapping or a rimshot or a duck quack, for instance.The related emoji for each sound will also animate over the player’s picture in the audience for whomever pressed the sound.

Be warned… the sound boards can absolutely be abused by nefarious users… so be careful with permissions. With the right group they can be fun.
Fun fact - I had set up some initial soundboards in our internal discord with in-game sound queues (Irenna VO lines, Builder lines, beacons arrived signal, etc) but then quickly removed them when I realized users could use them anywhere else on Discord. (This was before we were announced and doing public playtests)
Un-remove! Free advertising in other Discords sounds like a win to me.
