PC Crashing at startup around 40% and 60%

What’s weird is that if I get to the 40s my crash is different than if I get to the 60. When it crashes at 40% it gives me a popup and no code for blue screen

but when it crashes at 60 I get a flash of an actual blue screen code (Stop code: 0xc000021a (0xC000021A))

I do hear beeps too but some of them have been different so I have 0 idea what the actual issue is, once it was a singular beep and then a singular beep and another time it was a singular beep and then 3 beeps. it’s for sure not my PSU or my ram though as far as I’ve been able to tell. I can’t actually get into the game to be able to turn off my dynamic resolution but I do have the latest drivers installed

here’s my specs

OS Microsoft Windows 11 Home
GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER (8GB of GDDR6 VRAM)
Motherboard X570 AORUS ELITE
Processor AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor, 3793 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
RAM 32.0 GB

some of what all ive done to try to troubleshoot my issue

  • verified integrity of files
  • updated gpu drivers x2
  • reseated all of my hardware
  • turned off fast startup
  • its not my psu i just replaced that last year during the first time i had the issue
  • its not overheating
  • ran a memory diagnostic (no problems)
  • ran a repair system files through command prompt
  • cleared the nvidia shader cache
  • cleared directx system cache
  • cleared the steam cache (i thought this fixed it at first but i think it was that i uninstalled and reinstalled)
  • disabled caching shaders through steam downloads
  • uninstalled and reinstalled

and now when i uninstall and reinstall i actually get into the game but then i crash about 5 mins afterwards :confused:

I’m crashing again ): it’s mostly during ascension but it happens during spires as well
I’ve found uninstalling and reinstalling gives me a good like 1-4 hours of playing if it’s just spires
And this crashing is different, it’s not instant now it completely freezes my PC and then I have to manually reboot bc I can’t alt f7 or Ctrl Alt delete or anything. my mouse will still move and my mouse even changes depending on the program im hovering over but even letting my pc sit for 10 minutes it just stays frozen and doesnt black or blue screen or shut down
I still crash sometimes in spires but it isn’t nearly as much and when i do its most of the time during loading in. also when i try to ctrl b it breaks my game so i can’t bug report when i notice the lights in the environment start not working, this happens specifically in ascension before a crash, or that my screen is completely black on match start in spires. It’s just so random what fixes it and for how long bc if I don’t fresh reinstall the game every time before I launch it it will crash immediately

  • last crash may have been related to my setting with the come to front on match join and on…the other setting that comes to the front but im not sure
  • crash during ascension, lights started to go out in env i think my ctrl b crashed my game
    crash at 46% (didnt uninstall and reinstall to see what would happen)
  • crash 4 hrs later (didnt uninstall and reinstall), on match join/spawning in in spires, i think trying to ctrl b crashed my game again but it was going to crash anyway, i just wont try to ctrl b anymore to make sure lol
  • crash at 41%
  • crash on bonfire logo screen, it doesnt like me clicking off of the program anymore if it’s launching so maybe just let it think lol
  • another crash on the bonfire logo screen
  • now i cant launch at all, uninstalled reinstalled
  • crash on matchjoin/spawn in in spires
  • crash on launcher, like the popup…i didnt even get to see the bonfire logo ):

  • crash 1 hr later during mid match, this is a lot rarer for my crashes specifically in spires
    crash at 50%

thanks i really hope so (: its strange how things are sort of semirepeatable where they give me the same issue a few times in a row and then switches to another random way to crash? either way, really neat to hear about you guys getting some AMD hardware in the office to troubleshoot these issues and i appreciate all of you guys’ hard work trying to get to the bottom of it :black_heart:
