is the guild system where you link your discord and can queue for ascension within a certain server going to also work with spires? it be neat to be able to just queue spires within a discord through the same system without having to use the customs

yeah so in previous tests we’ve been able to link our discords and then we could choose which discord server that we were wanting to queue ascension in. im not sure if that’s still the case but it was a neat system and i’d think its even easier to do the same with spires bc you’re not trying to fill an entire lobby and it could allow you to play even if theres only 6 people queued within that server. i feel like at the moment there’s too much downtime in customs and it would be nice to be able to just say hi im queuing with my team if anyone else wants to run some spires for a bit and then no one has to have each other added or post a code join a call or a lobby etc

Theoretically… it should work. But its very untested. If you have a discord group full of people you want to try it with, let us know how it goes!

i was talking about it with a teammate (sniffa) and he had something really interesting and cool to add
"this sounds really nice i wanted the same thing for ascension where it’d pop at like floor 3 if we only had 12 people and this is even better for spires. it’d be cool to have like a player in queue (X/6) visual as well so you could even ping it in the discord like @rolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerolerole 4/6 for spires queue"
to take it a step further it would be neat if the guild could adjust things themselves somehow like starting money, team sizes, eternal rotations etc
and then in the same thought as the previous post…
you know those instances when people accidently all get into the same training room instance like we all queue and somehow it gets mixed up and throws us all into the same room it would be neat to have that…but on purpose >: ) like lets say i queue for training room in the high skill discord and i go into there and im looking at stuff but then someone else queues up and comes in then we dont have to back out or anything or add each other people can just join when the instance is full it starts a new one etc

i just think its neat the times we’ve all randomly been thrown into the same instance so it seems like it could work
the only reason i think its a good idea is bc atm there is so much joining leaving joining leaving etc and it affects the entire party
if the instance was based on the guild and not on the player then we could come and go as we please if our chat is bugged or if someone just wants to join for one round and leave we dont all have to back out and add that person and then go back in or to wait for them in the party outside of the training room for us to start
if we could just come and go as we pleased like being able to be invited from inside the training room already then my idea is kinda more moot but it would still make it easier to join people who are randos in the discord who you wouldnt otherwise know were on or know to ask if they want to duel
it would be neat to have it in the arkheron league since it’s more open than the high skill and it has so many active players (:
