Was curious about the reason that currently Fortitude crown breaks on damage but Vitality doesn’t. I’m assuming it’s gone through multiple changes and may have previously not broken to damage. In my playing I’ve felt the want to avoid this item unless I’m picking it up for a quick top off when I see it then switching back. During combat I feel that the crown feels like it’s valuable in niche situations. With fortitude crown you get less healing overall and can still be pierced if used with low vitality. Where as vitality crown seems more useful on drawn out fights where even when you run out of fortitude shards you still get the consistent healing.

I just thought about it and I realize that with fortitude damage gates it might have been broke due to healing overall the gate and then getting hit and going back over that gate makes it impossible. I might be onto something here…
Shouldve seen it before the buffs. Legit useless item. It’s not so bad now though. Don’t love the item, same with vitality crown, i think they are both pretty boring and unhealthy for the game, but.. I dont care about them THAT much. just dont focus that person, is my approach.
