I would put an entire set of Art Nouveau-styled eternal posters on my wall!!
i love art nouveau so much <3 yeah i had so many mucha pieces in my pureref for this lol i think i mainly referenced the seasons collections when i was trying to figure out what i wanted the background/layout to be
and then since she sings i thought it would be kinda cool to incorporate…whatever this is lol
but in an art nouveau type of way
and then most of what i painted i used a watercolor brush with so it had the same texture as the vintage posters (: i tried to use a limited palet but because i had so many elements it was harder for me to balance how it looked when id zoom out and then it was like ok this is very repetitive just being pastel pink so im gonna try to be more adventurous and im still not sure if it actually works but it was neat to try.
looking for these pictures in my pureref i found my initial sketch which may be kinda neat (:
Thanks for explaining your whole process; I love to see the WIPs! <3 I think you totally nailed a great balance of saturated vs. more-muted colors, without going too crazy with the pink.
