Following the previous Encore event, the Asia server was once again not opened.
Of course, I understand that the server might not open due to financial constraints or other issues if a sufficient number of players isn’t reached; however, having the server shut down like this twice in a row leaves me feeling very frustrated.
This is because Mr. Rob Pardo stated in an interview that he “hoped Korean users would truly come to love Arkheron,” yet—less than a month after he said that—the Asia server failed to launch on two consecutive occasions.
Furthermore, no clear reason was given in either case. On top of that, I was told that new features would be included in the update when the server opens.
Ultimately, if the version containing the new update is released in all regions except the Asia server, wouldn’t that be seen as the game company excluding a specific server?
If you aren’t intentionally excluding a specific server (the Asia server), please at least let me know the reason for this.
