Hello all, Generally great work on closed beta state I can invision already a game moving forward with other combat styles! that being said I would like to highlight some of the areas of combat.
Combat Skills Movements queue one at a time meaning there is no way to have a smooth combat feeling its sequantial which makes it difficult to attack move at the same time or move out drink poiton etc.
Item system inorder to get a good gear to unlock set bonuses you need the full set which concept wise makes sense but it limits build options quite a lot maybe a good way to balance is to open certain set bonuses on the amount of set items you have on you rather than one full set. also makes the regular items kind of useless.
3. support sets are not feeling fully supporting or attacking being inde middle doesnt allow proper positioning I would prefer to buff my allies more than being able to deal 10 dmg.
4. Sets are not indicative enough to showcase their abbilities maybe a section based grouping (like bruiser tank support mage) would help a lot this way I can understand what my teammates are playing in time it will be more and more difficult what set gives what kind of arch type as there will be more.
Thanks again I’ve played the game around for an hour exciting overal and thanks for all the efforts!
The “Unlock Set Bonuses in Stages - calculated by the amount of Set Items you have”
is actually quite good and would help Non-Ascended Builds to actually be more viable.
Thanks for the feedback! Regarding set bonuses, you get a set bonus when you have any two items from an Eternal Set. You can get two pairs of Eternal Items to unlock two set bonuses. The only thing that unlocks with a full set is the fifth Eternal ability (or ult as some people call it). You also get a little healing boost when you transform.
Great to hear there is already a system where these bonuses apply I cannot see what buffs are on me or what set bonuses are maybe that needs to be improved not sure.
Not to try and tell you that you’re wrong for wanting it to be clearer (because it definitely could be), the game does tell you this information as-is.
Thanks! now I can inspect what gives what was just reading the default skill explanation the F1 is quite nice as we are waiting to queue plenty of time to craft some nice setups.
Would be really good if that Information is presented in the Item Info themselfs - currently it doesnt say something along the line of “requires 2 set items” - i think one would assume it requires all 4.
